Fredrik Forslin 4th place in Derby at Auris!

...Before him there was Xavier Duret (winner of Derby de la Meije 10 (!) times), Bidou (winner of Derby de la Meije 2009 and 2010) and Fifi Supersonic (with his speedski best at 187 km/h)...they all skied on 205cm speedski monoskis.

Fredrik used his Best Off, and nearly got the 3rd place!

At the price cermony in Auris, Rodo delivers the "special price for non-french outstanding performance!

I bet Fredrik will focus and come back next year even better prepared and with an even faster ski!

old MONOSKIS are HOT!

I have many pintails on a wall in my apartment...as work of art they do a perfect job!
...but for skiing they are OLD and HEAVY and like old golf clubs with wooden sticks...NOT used in a real situation today!

I use my Esprit de Glisse for Derbys, my Extrem Carv for Pists, my Mountain 187 for freeride and a Tricks for jumping (and crashing :-) )

I think a lot of people are interested in MONOSKI but they are just not aware of the development and changes. It is a HUGE difference between pintail from the 80:s and the new ultralight carving boosted models!

the advert below wanted 5000 kr for an old ELAN ...it is more than you pay for a new FREE with new bindings, monobelt, twintip, carving and monoleash!!!

Beethoven...the MONOlight sonata

If Bethooven lived today he would probably be gliding down the mountains of St:Anton. And I am completely certain that if he had raced down the slopes he would have choosen a MONOSKI as his passionate tool of transportation.
...and then the moonlight sonata would probably been named MONOlight sonata instead...I am sure!

Calle Neidert has joined the gang of Extrem Carv superheroes.
He is a back-flipping and fast speeding grunge-skier, and will SHOCK the bi-skiers with death-defying extreme Carv turning in icy pists :-)

MONOBELT with style!

I think MONOBELT is to good not to use...
it gives you feedback when skiing (you feel if you start to separate the knees in tricky situations) AND it also makes BOTH legs to release simultaneously from the bindnings if you crash (and if you are not skiing with fixed-binding IBEX!)

However, I do not like the inner belt that keeps the monobelt in place...Therefore I have attached it by thread and needle to my ski dress and now yet another solution to my new skidress for this season...press-buttons as shown in the pictures below...

Adjustable IBEX frontbinding

As my Carving mentor (Mimo) often says: "moving the position of the bindings 1 cm can change the world!"

in fact it is easy to make the IBEX frontpiece adjustable...

NOW I am really longing for some icy pists to challange my carving technique!
