BANFF festivalen 2012

Ännu en gång så visade vi upp årets MonoSki modeller under BANFF festivalen i Göteborg.
Denna gång hade vi även med oss ett par av världens fetaste "vanliga" skidor DURET Monstre Fat.
Stort intresse hos alla festival deltagarna som vanligt..

om man nu ska splitta sin ride i 2...

Holy Shit the MID CARV is soon here!

När luften börjar kännas kall och kalendern visar på höst, då börjar i varje fall jag tänka på snö!

och inget gör mig gladare än att kolla in nya modeller av MONOSKI från DURET!

den nya MID CARV blir mitt nya vapen...tror att jag kommer skaffa en 160cm och montera fasta bindingar på den...sen är det bara att satsa så att örat...ja hela sidan av kroppen nuddar snön i extrema carving svängar

svängradien är 10,5 meter ! med lite tryck och tekniktips från Carving Master Mimo (CMM) så kan man nog trycka till och vända på ännu kortare och utnyttja alla krafterna för att slungas från carvingskär till carvingskär....LÄNGTAR!!!

Winner of the RVM derby 2012!

Fredrik Forslin is the DERBY WINNER ...again!...and this time we had a silver medal for Andras Gaal and a bronze medal for Jonas Wissting.

A special hurray for Jonas who has participated in ALL RVM derbys since 2008 and has reached a better position each year ;-)

Rhodin was a monoskier...for sure!

I will probably not hold it after the Derby...our Fast Skier #1 Fredrik Forslin will be there ;-)
... so this year we have medals for 2nd and 3rd palce as well (and in fact all participants get a small medal!)

Extreme Carv in Hemsedal

this year we have 2 alternatives for this and we will see which one we will keep for next year...

the FOSSHEIM Alternative (not enough people were interested in the Softresor Mono-pack)
Cabins at Fossheim (6 persons in each cabin)
and there is also room available at the hotel as usual.

PRICES:
FRI - SUN 615 Nok (bedlinnen & towel not included)
renting bedlinenn & 2 towels cost 130 Nok


There is a Participation Fee (100 SKr) for this event that will fund the making of the trophy for the Derby, engrave the winners to the Derby Winner Metal, advertising etc...

MonoSki @ OnePiece

MonoSki and OnePiece has something in common...
we both like "one-ness" and "mono"...
We all now that everyone are searching for the ONE thing, Nirvana or whatever...

You can find it gliding on snow (on one ski) or just relaxing in a cool way (or partying) in a OnePiece :-)

At the shop in Arkaden Goteborg, we have a MonoSki (a DURET FREE) in the shop to underline the connection of our "search for ONE-ness!"

Extreme Monoski Carving
for the people!

I also worked the door and handled the tickets for the extreme film-festival. I stopped some people from entering and demanded "THE PASSWORD"... Most of them caught on very well and stated correctly, loud and clear "MONOSKI"....

Fredrik Forslin 4th place in Derby at Auris!

...Before him there was Xavier Duret (winner of Derby de la Meije 10 (!) times), Bidou (winner of Derby de la Meije 2009 and 2010) and Fifi Supersonic (with his speedski best at 187 km/h)...they all skied on 205cm speedski monoskis.

Fredrik used his Best Off, and nearly got the 3rd place!

At the price cermony in Auris, Rodo delivers the "special price for non-french outstanding performance!

I bet Fredrik will focus and come back next year even better prepared and with an even faster ski!
